It's actually BBQ Sauce = Barbecue Sauce, rather than BBQ = Barbecue Sauce.
And I believe the acronym of BBQ goes by syllables.
Therefore, it's [B]ar[b]e[cue], at least as far as my take on it goes. Neutral

Then again, that's a difficult one to explain and will probably NEVER make sense.

I assume most of the "ignorant" kids that frozen seems to be refrencing to would be the latter.
